The Michigan Tech School of Technology ETEC design team placed second in the Regional U.S. Green Building Council USGBC's design competition for college students and young professionals.

ETEC - Efficiency through Engineering and Construction

Project Summary      
ETEC is a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled Engineering and Construction students in order to develop, solve, and redefine today’s engineering and construction oriented problems.

ETEC is an organization that is dedicated to the success in efficient design, construction, costs, environmental, safety, and the value of our customers. Current projects include the 2007 West Michigan Emerging Green Builders Design Competition, an energy audit for the Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, and an analysis of cost and energy efficiency of three different homes for the Copper County Habitat for Humanity.
