| New Exchange Program Spans Cultural Divide Aurenice Oliveira is the principal investigator for a project Michigan Tech has begun in collaboration with another U.S. college and two universities in Brazil for exchange students. The goal is to enhance engineering education, bridge cultures, and highlight global sustainable energy. The program will give students from the U.S. and Brazil “a global perspective—exposure to a different country, a different culture, a different university and a different language”—all within the same context: engineering. |

Scott Amos was recognized by the NAIT University Division as the NAIT Outstanding Industrial Technology Professor for 2007. |
