Michigan Technological University’s School of Technology invites applications for a lecturer position in the Computer Network Systems Administration (CNSA) program starting August 2008.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate classes and laboratories, promote the CNSA program through local, regional and national engagement, and participate in program assessment activity related to accreditation.

Qualifications
Applicants must have:  (1) an earned masters in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely-related field;  (2) evidence of strong oral and written communication, computer and presentation skills;  (3) a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching and student success.  Preference will be given to those also having one or more of the following:  PhD in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely-related field,  professional registration, teaching experience, relevant technical certifications or extensive relevant industrial experience.  The successful applicant will demonstrate appropriate technical expertise to teach courses such as network administration, database management, C++ programming, Unix/Linux administration, Storage Area Networks, and Microsoft server administration.

Salary
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
