·         Discuss the frequency response of an amplifier.

·         Express the gain of an amplifier in decibels (dB).

·         Analyze the low-frequency response of amplifiers.

·         Analyze the high-frequency response of amplifiers.

·         Analyze an amplifier for total frequency response.

·         Analyze multistage amplifiers for frequency response.

Unit 3 Test on Chapters 7, 8, 9, & 10

 

 

Reading:

·         Review Chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10.

 

 

Assignment:

·         Chapter 10 Homework:  Problems 3, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 19, 23, 27, & 33.

·         Chapter 10 Extra Credit:  Multiple Choice & True/False questions for Chapter 10 from the companion website.

Show your work for all questions requiring calculations.

 

 

Evaluation:

·         Chapter 10 Homework and Extra Credit due 19 November.

·         Unit 3 Test – 19 November on Chapters 7, 8, 9, & 10.

·         Final Exam – 12:30 PM, 15 December.

 

 

Note:

·         Labs will be performed in teams of two or individually until further notice.

·         Demonstrate proper operation of the above experiments to your instructor.

·         We will be using solderless protoboards (aka breadboards) to build our circuits.
