The CNSA Industry Advisory Board (IAB) represents a convergence of cooperative academic and industry interests dedicated to providing the computer/network information systems industry with highly-qualified individuals, while overseeing the direction of the CNSA program and creating opportunities for its students. IT/Business Consultant
Marquette General Health
For the past 10 years Dan has been the IT Business Consultant for Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Health Care Network. He has also helped develop, implement, and improve one the nation’s most advanced integrated health information networks. Dan has spoken at several universities, state and national rural health information conferences, as well as US Congressional Caucus due to his extensive knowledge regarding advanced computer and health technologies.
Dan also volunteers as a youth athletics coach, serves on the United States Olympic Education Center's board, and in many local community events. He has also volunteered as a panel member for local, state, and national network information technology projects. Dan and his wife reside in Marquette, Michigan with their three children.
Engineering Business Development
CCI Inc.
Todd Gingrass currently holds the position of Technical Business Development Manager for the Networks Division of CCI. He is responsible for the creation and technical oversight of multi-vendor solutions, created to serve the national and local Cable and Phone Service Provider market across the US and abroad. Todd is also responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturer relationships, along with overseeing the hiring and training curriculum for new engineers.
Todd has worked for CCI since 1999 and was crucial in creating the Networks Division of CCI in 2001. This Division is responsible for designing, selling and installing next-generation solutions such as VoIP, IPTV, VoD, Cable Modem / DSL, SONET, DWDM, and MPLS architectures.
Todd received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from MTU in 1999. He is a life-long resident of the U.P. and Iron Mountain, MI where he lives with his wife Kelly and their son Abram.
Regional Manager
Cisco Systems, Inc
As a Regional Manager for Cisco Systems, Carl is currently responsible for Commercial Business including SLED (State Local and Education) Vertical markets through out WI and the UP of MI.
He leads a team of Account Managers, System Engineers, Product Sales Specialists and Channel personnel that work with Cisco’s customers through out the territory. He has responsibility for managing sales of Cisco’s entire product lines, including advanced technologies such as IP communications, optical, storage, security, wireless and data center products. Upon joining Cisco in 2000, Carl worked in Cisco’s SLED Vertical market as an Account Manager.
Carl also serves on the board of ITAWi (Information Technology Association of WI) and Accelerate Madison. He is a member of the Fox Valley Association of IT Professionals (AITP) and a volunteer for The Boys and Girls Club of Madison, WI.

Rick Chernick is the CEO for Camera Corner Connecting Point, a company that specializes in technologies such as network security, storage area networks, imaging, digital cameras, and computers. His foresight in technology, along with his innovative business and management skills has led to the tremendous success and expansion of his company. Rick received his Bachelor of Science in business administration and economics from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in 1974. He and his wife Rebecca have five children and live in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Pathways Community Mental Health
Matt Maskart has more than 10 years of experience in the information technology field. An accomplished Systems Engineer for Pathways Community Mental Health, he has been an instrumental part of the growth and success of the Pathways' converged voice, video and data network. His strategic approach in network planning has helped Pathways efficiently and securely share data with business partners across the state.
In 2004, Matt also accepted the duties of the HIPAA Security Officer. In this role, Matt has designed and implemented the Information Security program for Pathways. Matt also makes the most of his leadership and security expertise as a member of the Northcare Networks Information Security Team.
CNT-1 Group Leader
Los Alamos National Laboratory
Michael S. Zollinger is the Group Leader for the Departmental Computing Group (CTN-1) in the Computing, Telecommunications, and Networking Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). He has 19 years of experience in the scientific computing world. In 2001, Mike began work at the world renowned Los Alamos National Laboratory where he remains today. His group of 90 employees support complex, multi-platform computing environments for a diverse set of customers and programs. He has participated in high profile computer security related endeavors involving multiple Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Agency laboratories. He is a charter member of the National Laboratory Information Technology (NLIT) Society.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from the University of the State of New York and his Master of Science in Systems Management from the University of Denver in 1990. He and his wife Lynn are the proud parents of eight children
