Two School of Technology Programs Accredited

The Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET Inc. has accredited Michigan Tech's Electrical Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs in the School of Technology.

ABET is the recognized accrediting agency for college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and technology.

Each program offers a bachelor of science degree. In electrical engineering technology, students focus on computer engineering technology or power and industrial control.

In mechanical engineering technology, students learn to be applied problem solvers who possess a broad combination of technical and managerial skills and knowledge to enter careers in technical sales, designing, installing, manufacturing, testing, evaluating or maintaining mechanical systems.
